Window tinting

Tint for the front windows, or for the whole vehicle.

Queensland sun heats a parked car fast and fades dashboards, seats and trim over time. Window film cuts the heat and glare coming through the glass, blocks UV, and makes the cabin more comfortable.

We fit ceramic film only, from Avery Dennison and Solar Gard, in 20%, 35% and 70% shades. We cut and fit it to your car's glass for a clean, factory-style finish, and help you choose a shade that looks right and stays within Queensland's legal limits.

Shade guide

VLT is how much daylight gets through the tinted glass. The lower the number, the darker the tint.

Tint shades by how much light they let through
ShadeLets throughWhat it's like
Light70%Heat and UV control with barely any darkening.
Dark35%The darkest legal shade on front side windows in Queensland.
Darker20%The darkest legal shade on rear side and rear windows in Queensland.

Queensland rules for private cars: front side windows above 35% VLT, rear side and rear windows above 20% VLT, and a tint strip across the top of the windscreen only. Keep the windows up for the time we advise after fitting, while the film dries.
