One day, weather permitting. Drop-off is at 6 or 7am, and we message you when the car is ready the same day. A ceramic coating takes up to 24 hours to cure in most cases, so keep the car dry once it's home. We confirm the timing when you book. What happens to your car, step by step

Yes. A deposit of 25% of the quoted price secures your booking and comes off your final bill. With 48 hours' notice or more you can move the booking for free, or cancel and get the deposit back. The balance is due at pick-up, by card, bank transfer or cash. The terms have the details.

Yes. We're fully insured, including public liability, and your car is covered while it's in our care, from drop-off to pick-up.

A liquid coating that bonds to your car's clear coat and hardens into a thin, glossy protective layer. Water and dirt slide off it, it resists UV fading and etching from bird droppings and sap, and it makes the car much easier to wash.

There are four levels: the 3-year Essential and 5-year Signature from Feynlab, and the 7-year Elite and 10-year Ultimate from Kraken. The 5-year suits most cars, and for $100 more than the 3-year it lasts 2 years longer. If the car is a long-term keeper or lives outside, the 10-year works out cheapest per year, from $150 a year against $333 for the 3-year. Answer six quick questions for our pick

Our coatings are rated from 3 to 10 years. How long one actually lasts depends on how the car is washed, where it's parked and how much sun and weather it sees. Safe hand washing helps it reach its full rating, and every coating includes a yearly check-up, where we make sure everything is as it should be.

Yes. We're certified by both Feynlab and Kraken, the two coating brands we use. Certified installers are trained in each brand's prep and application method, which is what the coating warranty relies on.

Each coating carries its maker's own limited warranty, matching its rating. Feynlab coatings come with a full warranty pack at handover; Kraken warranties are held online. The terms depend on the coating and your car, so we go through them with you before any work starts.

No. A coating adds hardness and resists light marring from washing, but stone chips and deep scratches still happen. Stone chips need paint protection film, which is coming soon. What a coating does is make the paint easier to keep clean and easier to look after.

Yes. Older paint usually needs correction first to remove swirls and oxidation, because a coating locks in whatever is underneath it. Every package already includes a polish suited to the paint; heavier defects get a correction stage, which we quote before we start.

Yes. Matte and satin paint gets its own ceramic coating, from $999 including GST, made to protect the finish without adding gloss.

Keep it dry for the first week while it cures. After that, hand wash with a pH-neutral shampoo and avoid brush car washes. No top-ups are needed: if road film dulls the water beading, a decontamination wash brings it back. The full aftercare guide

The price depends on your vehicle and its condition. Send a quote request and we'll confirm the price with you. All prices include GST, and quotes are valid for 30 days.

Yes. Glass coating from $149, matte and satin paint from $999, and wheels and calipers, plastics and trim, leather, and fabric and carpet from $199 each. Add any of them to a coating and they're done in the same visit, or book them on their own.

Front windows from $199, or the full vehicle from $499. We fit ceramic film only, from Avery Dennison and Solar Gard, in 20%, 35% and 70% shades. The film you choose changes the price, and removing old tint is extra.

For private cars, front side windows must stay above 35% VLT, and rear side and rear windows above 20% VLT. Only a strip across the top of the windscreen can be tinted. The shade guide

Maintenance Detail from $169, Exterior Detail from $199, Interior Detail from $249 and Full Detail from $399. A Maintenance Detail is a safe hand wash and quick top-up between full details; a Full Detail is the Exterior and Interior Details in one visit. What's in each detail

Yes, two. The Weekly Care Plan is $99 a week for a 45-minute visit on a set day each week, with a coating topper every 4th visit. The Monthly Care Plan is $129 a month for a maintenance wash every month, with a decontamination and coating topper every 3rd visit. Both have a 3-month minimum, then you can cancel any time with 30 days' notice. Places are limited. Join a plan

Each stage is another round of machine polishing for a finer finish, removing more swirl marks and scratches. 1-stage polish starts at $499, 2-stage at $799 and 3-stage at $999, which removes up to 90% of paint defects. We measure paint depth first. Headlight restoration is from $99.

Yes, from $100. Every voucher is a dollar amount towards any service, sent by text, ready to forward or print, and valid for 3 years. Gift vouchers
